Fourth Workshop of the ETNA Thematic Network on ICT-based Assistive Technology
The overall goal of the ETNA thematic network is to establish a European Web
Portal able to provide information on assistive products based on ICT
(information and communication technologies) and e-accessibility solutions
which are available in Europe, and on related organizations and services.
This meeting is the fourth of the six workshops scheduled within the ETNA
project. Organized as satellite event to the ICCHP 2012 Conference, the
workshop aims to finalise WP4 and start WP5. Decisions will be taken in
relation to the ontology system to be implemented in the TN Portal, based on
appropriate taxonomies, that will be later transformed into a formal ontology
managed through proper online management tools. The meeting will also
finalise the development of the user-rating prototype, start discussion on
the integration with the ATIS4All virtual community, and set the ground for
the future validation of the Thematic Network Portal. In relation to the
strategy to adopt for further progress of the ETNA project, the agenda
includes a first discussion of dissemination and sustainability plans.
Furthermore, the workshop will present the results achieved so far not only
by the ETNA and ATIS4All networks, but also by the EASTIN, EASTIN CL,
CLOUD4All and eACCESS+ projects.
Attendance to the workshop will include representatives of all ETNA partners,
of the ATIS4All network, of the EASTIN partners and national contact
Organisations, and other invited guests.
