Sub Domains

SST will address four specific sub-domains within the domain of self-service terminals and devices:

1. Banking and finance: this sub-domain will address automatic banking machines (ATMs), electronic banking (there will be cross links with the web accessibility domain on this issue), chip and pin machines, security token devices, smart cards
2. Self-service systems in e-government, including information kiosks, voting systems
3. Self-service ticket and information systems for public transport including trains, buses, metros, airlines
4. Self-service systems in tourism and cultural heritage, particularly audio-visual guides, information kiosks and digital or digitally enhanced exhibitions
